INTRODUCTION

What is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Japanese mangaka artist Hirohiko Araki. The series was originally created in 1987, and as of writing this, is still running to this day along with it's own animated adaptation. The story hosts a wide array of characters, though the overall story-line revolves around the "Joestar" bloodline, and is currently divided into 9 individual "parts" where each part consists of different characters and plot-lines.

There are currently 6 seasons of the JJBA anime, while season 6 (titled: Stone Ocean) is still releasing on the streaming service Netflix. Prior to the anime adaption directed by studio David Productions in 2012, there were two attempts at adapting JJBA. The first attempt was an OVA dedicated to Part 3: Stardust Crusaders, and can still be found to this day around the internet. However, this can not be said about the second adaptation, as the infamous Phantom Blood movie that was released in Japan by the same studio during 2007 is considered lost media to this day, aside from minor stills.
